Lightning Fast Christmas Card Tutorial
Christmas is just around the corner so it is time for me to make Christmas cards. I like to send cards to friends with a little note or picture of my family and I often include a card on gifts I give. Often life can be so busy that I have a quick Christmas card that is my "go to" design when I have little to no time to create something. I thought it would be useful to you as well and will be sharing it with you today. On purpose this card does not use any major tools so it is quick and you can even make it in the car while you are driving to your inlaws :)
Supplies needed:
I have a huge supply of cards I can choose from but you can use any card you like as long as it looks good with the paper you have picked. Cut your first piece of scrapbook paper to be just a bit smaller than your card. For example my card is 5 1/2 " x 4 1/4"so I cut my paper to be 5 1/4" x 4". With an ink pad ink the edges of the paper.
Now take your second piece of paper. You will just need a strip of paper. For mine my strip was 5 1/4" x 1 1/2".Tear the edges of this small strip. To be able to see the white core make sure you tear towards yourself
Now ink the edges of this strip of paper. Place the small strip onto the bigger piece of paper. You can secure in place with a small bit of adhesive (I used double sided tape) or just secure it with a brad on each end.
Using your letters (today I am using rubons) add a little message to your strip of paper. Once this is complete use an adhesive (I use double sided tape) to adhere this onto your card. Wahlah! A cute and super quick Christmas card.

Supplies needed:
- Cards
- Two pieces of scrapbook paper that compliment each other (often times scraps come in handy for this project)
- Ink pad
- Two brads (simple brads or in a design)
- Lettering (you can use rubons, stickers, letter stamps or even vinyl)

| See how I tear the paper towards myself? If I tear it the other way I won't see the white "core" of the paper. |
